It was a real pleasure to welcome over 200 guests to Campdale Motion’s 5th premiere event, and our first in the Prince Charles Cinema.

The three showcased films, Precipice, A Fig Story, and My Cuppa Tea, represent our film school – all the learning we have done and the progress we have made as self-taught filmmakers. But I am also proud of them in their own right as solid short films.

Showing all three at once thus marked a special occasion. A close in a chapter. We have traversed our initial learning curve and are ready to tell even bigger and better stories going forward.

Seeing the Prince Charles so full with people eager to watch the culmination of 2 years of our collective filmmaking journeys was heartwarming and inspiring.

These are the moments that motivate us to keep growing and telling stories, and we can’t wait to begin our next phase as a collective.
